EBay has PTO cables with a heim joint on one end and a QD on the other for under $50 delivered. You don't need more than 8' or 96".

Search "steinjager cables" on Ebay. All differnt lengths available. 8ft min - 10ft max. These cables have bulkhead style ends with jam nuts, heim on one ens and quick disconnect on the carb end. Well built product

Are you guys making your own brackets for mounting the cable to the motor and the pedal?

I don't have a specific cable part number to recommend but I do have a "watch out" for you.... one problem I have had with some different cable designs is that the rigid portion of the cable end, especially on the carb side, is way too long. This makes it difficult to mount in the space available between the carb, distributor, and firewall. Watch out for this when choosing a cable.

Just buy a pedal from SPIDERMAN!!!! Good quality, no binding, and A LOT cheaper than his competitors.

I would spend the extra $2 and get one at 84" or better.

I would spend the extra $2 and get one at 84" or better. To each their own. This is the one that works well me and the guys I run with. Plenty long enough, 4" travel, cheap and durable. Personally I wouldn't want 2 more feet of cable flopping around in the car. And if you tie it down to the cage or something you risk the cable binding when the car bends. But, again, to each their own.

I wrapped one of my cables around a piece of 3" tube 3 full wraps and then parked a truck on it. cable didn't bind at all. The advantage of the bulkhead fittings is the adjustability. My cable doesn't flop around cuz it's zip tied in with my wiring harness. Cable is completely out of the way so you can't step on it.

I agree completely I'm not going to bash anyone's product but I bought the supposed best pedal on the market and one from spiderman his was cheaper showed up two months faster (ordered both the same day to compare) and he paints it for you and was very easy to deal with and has a quality part. Functionally there is no difference in the two no binding or any other problems at all with em.
