I have heard many people say that they dont run front brakes because of bending rims hitting the calipers. I have never had that problem. I did break a rotor. So, no more front brakes for me on certian types of builds.

I ran right front on my first 2 cars, I have even chopped off the mounts for the caliper since then

I have been running front brakes for 14 years without any issues. I still run them on stock type builds but when you run promod stuff its a different story. JMO

If someone gets under your rearend you can be pushed into the wall. That's why I keep my fronts.

With front brakes ( which I do not run ) or without, sometimes things just fail. I ran Razorback rumble and for the first time in 17 years of derbying I broke a front rotor just like in your pic. Just a freak failure I guess.

The problem was that I was running front brakes. The caliper piston hit the broken rotor and that wheel did not turn again. It was not fun to drive after that.
