suck it tight! wrap that tunnel around your tranny brace! (if equiped with one) and no need to bulldog this car as much as others, run your normal 15" tires in the rear and what ever spring setup you need, close the y's add some good brackets and have fun. no need to tilt these cars. (IMO) as far as it pushing staight back, down bars from your frame will help tremendously.

If all you do is play with spacers at the mount points, this is actually an example of a two lever system- the sub and the body are each a single lever by themselves. The pivot point of the sub is the front wheels. Everything in front of the wheels pivots down and everything behind the wheels pivots up (with respect only to the sub). For the body, the pivot point using the spacer method is the rear wheels. Again, and opposite, everything in front of the rear wheel pivots up and everything behind pivots down. A ruler and some simple trigonometry will allow you to calculate the angles and spaces that result.
If you want to "tilt" without affecting those relationships then I agree you are venturing into the cold or hot tilt territory. Keep in mind that this may create some problems with the torsion bars.

But even if you tilt at the s bend by the firewall. The frame is some wht straight already from factory so wouldn't tht put it pointing down which make the front go down or just push back easier ? Plus the effects and pressure it's putting on the torsion bars .

Yes. If you cut the frame anywhere behind the a arms to pitch it down, then the front horns are gonna be pointing downward. On about any Mopar, that seems like a bad idea to me. Considering even a shocker has been known to go down in the front without pitching. No way on gods green earth would I pitch a y framer.

Where we run we can do very little in regards to modifying the frame ie welding and plating. I wouldn't think tilting a Y frame would be benefical at all. Stock the front frames are made of pipecleaners, I've always had them go in and up. Now the rear on the other hand, you can't beat them. So if there is an advantage to tilting a Y frame please tell me what is it?
