Really? ^^^ I was told that if I flipped it upside down it would be fine is that true?? Or are u positive bout that? Cuz if so I'm glad you said something bout it n ya I knew bout the rearend n the clip rearend I've got clip eliminators just for that ? Hey dude, look at the stupid fricken bumper... Does it looks strong? Or is there a bunch of open spaces that will get crushed in over the course of 2 hits? Might have been swapped somewhere along its life with a solid one. I wanna throw up in my mouth when people ask about bumpers. If it looks strong (no big void holes in the steel) it Is strong. If there's open spaces all over it needs work or it's junk. Why common sense can't be applied to this subject is beyond me.... Bigger backing with less holes is stronger whoa, that's a mind blower! Not pissed at you dude, if you go to the bumper thread people don't have a clue sometimes.

Second one down is a good style Malibu bumper. Good steel backing. Is yours like that or just the chrome shell?

Its too bad anything useful in this thread will be lost. To be fair the GM mid 70s midsize wagons and the squareback should have their own thread. To say they are basically the same because the fronts are the same as their sedan counterparts if like saying a 74 Caprice sedan is basically the same as a 74 Chevy wagon because the noses are the same. If leafing a coil sprung car didn't have the same stigma in the derby world as gay marriage does to derbiers.... then malibu wagons, 98's and 225s would bring twice the price of any imp or roundback
