I think i was the lowest cars in this class.

I've been noticing a lot of people run the allthread thru the decklid from the body mounts and some do not. Is there an advantage to one or the other?? Thanks

The allthread I've seen runs from the frame sides and up through the trunk lid. What I understand of this is you weld the allthread to the frame just in front of where you dimple the frame to create a strong spot so bends tighter. Also the bolts and plates suck down a dent and trunk lid to create a dimple in the sheet metal.

What are you guys doin with the fords that have deep trunks? Mines a mid 80s towncar. Does it effect the durability of the backend with a deep trunk?

All right guys have a question building a 97 vic. And I have a spare car hood what if I use it on the trunk instead of of the trunk lid. And weld it to the bumper like some of the guys dowith mopars. Good or bad idea? Car will be built to smash it rules. Also going to "v" or canoe the trunk

If your building it to smash it rules.. You obviously havnt read the rules, considering what you're asking... This is a stock box vic lid, no added metal other than strapping.
