Just picked up a 92 Linc. Wondering how they would do in a fig-8. I have several mid-sided GMs (75 Cutlass, 76 Malibu, 79 Camaro, etc.) to choose from, but I would think the more modern suspension could handle better than the 70’s stuff but would like to hear from experience.
The track is the size of a rodeo arena and is packed dirt, no bank.
Thanks.

Derby the lincoln.Every other car you listed would be a better figure 8 car. The camaro would be a great choice if your rules allow you to build it up a little. All a lincoln is is a stretched out crown vic, which have lots of body roll and handle like crap.A 79 camaro has a front end design far better than a vic and the rear leaf springs are a great design for racing.I raced circle track for years and ran several camaros, they were the perferred car until they became scarce then we switched to metric GM cars like monte carlos. If it's legal make subframe connectors for the camaro they make a huge difference.
