Almost ready for buisness. Lol Put a brace on the pipes, just a flat piece of steel going front to back. This way if the hood ever bumps them they won't break off.... I've found it really helps no matter how sturdy they are on the shop floor.

Got an 83 corolla for a simple chain and go derby. Want to simplify the wiring as much as possible, anyone know how I can do that with an electric fuel pump hooked to this 4a motor? New to these cars. I won't need an alternator, it is only one heat on a concrete track, should go quick. My rules also require stock bumpers and they didn't come with the rig. Should I track down stock bumpers or go without? Thanks for any advice.

Stock bumper is much stiffer than it looks.

I have heard they are ok bumpers. I am hoping to track one down but I don't plan on spending much. I am looking forward to getting into minis again. Ran a pinto a few years ago and it was a blast.

Adding bumpers and finishing off the paint next weekend, its as mobile and hostile as a toyota corolla can get.
