Shorten the front mount your bumper with plates so it doesnt twist at front crossmember, the passenger rail will bend at the idler

Building a 77 ltd, shortened and hardnosed it. How do I slow it down from bending at the firewall?

77 Ltd 2 door. Street stock build. Any tips on what to do and what not to do? Plan on a big notch behind the bumper shocks & a smaller one 12 inches back. Spring spacers of course & creasing.

Question. 76 torino wagon and Ltd wagon. Front frames are different right? Ltd has the z box with tranny mount dog legs off it and the torino had a s style arch in front at firewall? I haven't looked at a torino but I know the Ltd and cougars style frame.

I've got a 74 ltd country squire. Are they any good to run in a limited weld class?
