Does anyone have any advice on the optimal rear bumper height of a leafed 75 Ltd? Mine appears to be somewhere lower than the front. In this thread it suggests that it should be level with coils, but nothing is mentioned about leafs. Thankyou. The back being a little lower is ok. I ran a town 7 plus 3 on top of the main and 3 under with solid shackles it bent to the shackles and stopped.

So I run these cars but ultimately I keep blowing humps, the last 2 are early ones with c channel, I trimmed the long boxed side back to match the shorter boxes section, had factory rear with shocks dimpled right at the end of them above the big factory hole, do I just need to do bigger notching? Or cut the body?

Ya give it a good dimple, if u notch the c channel it will rip off, i have had a few guys say that short trunking them like old iron caddies is the way to go but not sure, we have tucked the 2 that we have ran but we just use the front, kind of hide the back

'76 Mercury Cougar. Same as a Thunderbird? I've been reading through the threads but seems to be some discrepancies. It has a full boxed rear frame with very long bumper shocks inside the frame. Worried it's going to blow out the humps
