nateris00, swapping a small block in place of the 460 will give you the increased height you need without swapping coil springs.

Yeah I thought about putting my 302 in but didn't know if i would run into any troubles... You would have to make motor mounts correct? Anyone have suggestions/tips on putting in a small block? This is also the first car i got with a 460 and everyone has mixed opinions about them and so I thought I would see for myself.

Don't put a slightly pointed bumper on upside down... that went poorly for me, bent down between the a-arms and the firewall. It was stock box shocks in stock location with the shocks collapsed and welded solid. If anyone has a rebuttal to the bumper i'm open to entertain your experiences. And chain your steering column up. Cost a couple stitches in my hand.

I took angle iron and welded my a arms solid by welding the angle iron to the frame and a arm. I ran my 78 ltd last sunday very hard car.

I also ran a 350/th400 set up with a 10 bolt rearend. i took a package tray out of a square body ford and welded it in for my upper control arms.

I was wandering if anyone could post a picture of replacing the ball joints with a bolt. I know I've read it but not sure how its done exactly. Thanks and you can pm those if you want

Well fordpower, say what you want but you can keep those big blocks! After a hard night, that big block has overheated, and your stacks and accessories are all mangled in with the front clip, my small block will be running warm and everything attached to the engine will be in one piece and working properly!
