Ok boys I'm running a 73 Continental Town car 460 c6 9inch...first time in a v8 class...my dad owns a junk yard and my question is what should I run for a front bumper. Rules say I can hard nose seam weld...just no slugging or added metal...only metal that can be added is 8"x8" 1/4" plate for brackets...now I found a few good solid bumpers just unsure what I should pick....have a mid 70s cougar Thunderbird and ltds....the best on I found is a 74 or 75 Mercury montego (granda) any other tips would be appreciated....running a roll over bar, trans cooler inside, fuel cell, geared and spoiled 9inch,homemade radiator out of steel, 1 inch bolts with hockey pucks at all body mounts (per rules)....car has coils so have to check if I can run hump plates¿!¿ If I tilt or make it a kicker I have to run with they imperials...460 has pre 71 tdc timing chain set..Victor high rise and quick fuel 850 carb Dec headers 4 into one through hood...doubled front rubber on stock wheels...rears are 14 chrome wheels tubed with bobcat tires Put a 74 through 76 montie on it!!

Hey guys, I've been seeing a lot of people talking down about the 460s, why do people not like running them? The reason I ask is I have a 74 marquis with a 460 that runs well. I am planning on running electric fans. Is this a bad idea?

Guys, need a little advice. 79 Lincoln Mark V, semi stock class. In trunk area, allowed 1 inch all thread through back 4 body mounts which is done. Also allowed an extra body mount inside trunk, can go thru frame or welded to side. Any suggestions on where to put it to help car from potentially going down in the ass. No hump plates and I have car sitting high If you are allowed I would run them through the coil spring bucket inside the coil spring all the way down to the rearend and weld the nut to the rearend and put the nut and washer inside the trunk right below the speaker deck, this will also help with keeping the humps from blowing out as well, if not i would weld them just in front of the first body bolt to the frame where the frame starts to bend up to the hump and weld it on the inside of the frame not the outside. jmo, hope this helps.

Aren't those Fords rear steer? If so old Caddy stuff might work. IDK. Do you have one with missing parts or you trying to modify something? jugulator would probably know. Hes ran a few of both.

Modify. Figured I'd ask on here before going to measure 1960s chevys an caddys. Yes they are rear steer. The factory stuff just don't give enough height by bolting down a arms.

Have a 77 ltd 2 door I’m gonna build for smash it kicker, 2018 rules. Any tips besides hardnose & tail? Thought about trying to scorpion tail behind the humps. Would like some input.

So, I have a few questions, very well could have missed them but are the 78 Lincoln’s rear steer, how much of the rear frame is c channel, are people switching out spindles for height?
