Does anyone ever have trouble with the motor cradle hitting the drag link on front steer cars? If so how do you compensate/battle this issue?

Heat it and bend it down and out some. And cut that tab off that sticks off the front of the engine crossmember.

I have a 1975 impala that’s preran. it’s starting to go at the lowers and I’m wondering if I pull it down and plate it or just throw the car away.

Anyone have a pic of the "tow package addition" over the humps on the 74-76 BOP cars?

So I just bought a 74 4 door Impala and a 76 4 door LeSabre, was wondering what the best thing to do to them, not allowed to frame TIL the but can body tilt, we are also allowed engine protectors and trans braces. Was planning on leaving the firewall in it and mounting the engine as far back as possible with a Distributor protector. Was curious to see what else would be good to keep the front end down

Gm needs to push back before it pushes up behind the a arms in my findings. So, good crossmember and a good tranny brace with a dp against fire wall will keep it from moving.
