I honestly think after a few galaxies that wedging isn't the right thing to do to one, nor super hard rear bumper. I think just knocking body lines in and keeping the trunk more in it's factory location could prolong the bumper from folding up and over itself. Just not enough body to stop the roll once you wedge them being the bodies are so short (in height) in the trunk area. Then you have to worry about body peeling. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of thing IMO

I wouldn't say they went "down". They all seem to pucker on the 1st part of the hump coming from the back of the car. I ran the tan one last year and that's all it did was pucker, then the springs stop that. One of them this year my buddy from New York ran and the hump on the passengers side ( I believe) did the same thing. That and the other one this year just started hitting too hard before the ass ends started to roll so they ended up both bending funny. Mine last year I drove a little different to let it roll. It ended up rolling twice behind the rear shackles and once in front of them.

No.... they have a factory spot behind the leafs that they can eventually bend at.... im not gonna super wedge the next one... my last one was just welded solid/straight and the ass never moved....
