Ok so the one I have has 4 screw posts on it, 2 bigger ones (one on each side) and 2 smaller ones out the front. Is it still routed the same way . Each of the smaller ones has a letter, the left has an I and the right has an S. am I right to assume I means ignition? I'll try to get a pic of it. Just so I know, what is Dura spark? thanks. On the double posters, I don't remember which small one is correct. 50% chance of getting it right the first time. You won't damage anything if you get it wrong...it simply won't work if you get the wrong one. Bear in mind, the mounting bracket on those IS the ground for it. If the mount isn't grounded, it won't work. Ok thanks, But I may screwed my self because I cut the bracket off with a sawzall like a noob, so I guess I'll have to find another solenoid. any good brand suggestions? thanks

You'll need a new one. I haven't had especially good or bad luck with any specific brand.

Best gears, tire and wheel size, for 14 bolt behind a stock 2.3? 5 speed 2wd tranny.

Will a 94 2wd ranger 5 speed work and is it cable or hydraulic? Should be a hydraulic setup and as long as it came out of a 2.3 it will work, we have ran one. T-5’s are the best I have found but are getting harder to come by. 2.3 T-5’s and V-8 T-5’s a pretty similar other than the 2.3 has a longer input shaft which is inter changeable and they are geared different. Bellhousing will unbolt as well. I’m pretty sure the ranger uses a fine spline clutch where as the t-5’s use a corse spline all the way back to the 70’s pintos.
