Any one have pics or video of a volvo wagon? I have a 92 240 just wondering how they hold up and fold. Light weld/mod car. [img src=" i41.photobucket.com/albums/e278/smashbob12/1wagon.jpg" src=" " alt=" "] ran this car in 04' & 05' a 5 run car with chevette eng/trans, #9 wire car with just 1 bar behind the seat. That is awesome brother. I got a 2.3L and a c-3 thats about crapped out in a light MOD local fair. Seams welded a-arms forward. Raised front not sure of bumper. Welded tie rods. Angle iron motor mounts to frame haha little excessive.

Hi Guys I just picked up a clean 940 wagon for Pro mini Impact rules, just wondering why everyone seems to use the 240's? also any tips other than struts and bumpers would be greatly appreciated. Are the axles solid enough to run doubles and welded diff?

Are the axles solid enough to run doubles and welded diff? alot of it is wheel base rules.940 at 109inches and 240's at 105.5 0r 103.9 depending on how you flip your balljoints. never had an axle issue with my 240's with doubeld tires but my cars ran 4 cyl's.

Ok so this summer I ran a 740 and 240. Both 1991. Both had the same issue. Throttle got bent to the side and shifter linkage jammed up. Do you guys just run a rod straight to the tranny? I know the throttle getting bent was caused by the hood. Much bigger opening next year

I still can't believe how bad that bent your throttle even after the hole you already had in the hood, crazy.

for a mild weld compact derby (any year factory bumper, 2x2 bumper shocks, solid suspension, tank protector...), which volvo would probably be the best model and what years? the 240 mid to late 80s is what I'm thinking. would have a ford 2.3 engine switched into it.
