Mines at 27 to the top and getting ran in a couple of weeks. Kind of nervous on how it will hold up. Just dimpled the rear and pre bent it. And the middle of the trunk lid is 23 inches off the ground. It should be fine, although I prefer a tuck and notch on Hondas because they will whale tail left stock. They always go up....straight up.

volvo129 you should notch the back if u can get to the inside support in the trunk. These cars like to go up like Stromi said in the back. Jmo if u gan get to them. ;D

Just picked up an Accord wagon today. About the only body style honda I have not ran. Anyone have ideas on the rear? Seen 2 ran but neither rear end moved. Do they go up or down once they do start to move? Fronts I have figured out just want that rear to be as tough as it can be, very clean for a New York car.

Id raise the rear bumper high as possible, weld the hatch, and let her eat.

Suspension will be solid and high. Can't wait to run the wagon. Figured I would throw these up on here...Before and after of my 91 Prelude Si from last year. This one 90 Prelude S (carbed) is coming off the road after 3 weeks and getting ran this year. Rims are comming off and going on this... 91 Prelude Si. This one should survive this year atleast lol.

had my run in with a civic hatchback today. had it on a trailer and the strap broke on the front going down the high way. only thing holding it on was the strap on the back, the car was hanging off the back of the trailer and was turned at about a 45 degree angle. rubbed a hole in the back donut from being drug going 65.

Atleast learn from your mistake and secure cars properly and carry extra straps in the future...

I don't know If I have pics of that car still or not. Don't think I have pics of either of them actually. That rusty one was suprisingly tough...3 runs with compacts, and one with trucks, vans and fullsize. Still had some life left too.

i did stop as soon as i noticed the car. we just bought new straps rated 10,000. but i guess the stitches around the hook were rated that high.
