Yes the rules definitely suck, anything I can do to keep it from plowing? Was hoping to get at least 2 runs outta the monte but that didn't happen so this is what I'm stuck with, and it will be ran In a mixed feature with full size cars pretty much 80s and newer,

I don't remember what the rules say but I would notch and prebend the rear about 3".. Also I would cut the crush boxes off in front and weld bumper on because the 93 century wagon had rubber backs to the bolts coming out of the bumper.. Um I don't really know what else to tell ya right now.. Those rules are harsh lol.. I'll ask my bro in law when he gets off work.. But otherwise there are some really gifted people on here that might be able to help.. C4 and 607ballzbe there are others as well that would be more qualified

How do you get to the differential on these bad boys. I have a 90 with a 3.3. It doesn't look to be as straight forward as a lumina? or can you take the tranny pan off and weld up through that way? Thanks

Wow just read in your rules that the gas tank and lines must remain under the car!! That is the dumbest chit.. Not smart.. I would be wreckin that nice wagon somewhere else.. Also does that have the 3.3 in it??

Usually it will say none or like 50%.. So if I was you I would be doing some heavy duty creasing on it.. If you don't know how to crease you can go to YouTube and its under how to crease a derby car.. I don't see a whole lot else besides that other than building a badass cage inside it.. It says u can have one like NASCAR if you wanted.. Other than that is it gonna be a dryer or wetter than hell track??

Sounds like a good idea I was told to prebend ours 3"... We turned it into a sedagon but we get to use all thread through the frame and the strut towers.. Otherwise you really can't do it properly.. Are you using a skid steer..

The diff can be welded through the bottom the tranny on these cars if anyone wanted to know. Took the pan off and found a small access hole

i have a 96 century for a stock show. the rules state no body or frame modifications so i can't notch or prebend the rear and for the trunk it says no welding, tucking, or wedging the trunk so i was wondering if anyone has tried dishing a trunk on these cars?

Ran mine for the 3rd time last night. Pretty hard cars if built right. Struts, tierods, and the "rear end" underneath and pretty weak

Take the dog bone out n replace with 2" square tubing.. And change the subframe mounts in the front.. Take out the rubber shims and run allthread through all and suck it all together..

So I always hard wire my fans onto a switch. I wired this one on a 1990 Century, and it bogs the motor down and shuts it off when I kick it on while idleing. Because I wired it in directly to 12 volts, it must be on high speed and drawing a lot of amps is all I can think. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated?
