Ford 200 fits nicely. I had trouble trying to set a 250 form a 73 Stang into one. Saw a 300 in someone elde's, but it sat really high & funny

As far as puting the 2.8 and trans into pacer I think it would go. My friend had one out of a chevette and he put it in his pacer. If you have a 2.3 I would use that though. Thats what I have in both of mine.

Ok I got three runs on my pacer. The front is up a lil. Is it a good idea to just tilt it down.

If you can plate it where it bent yes. Either way I suppose it would slow down it going up any further.

It only bent right behind the rad support. I can reweld with some plating. I just want to bring the front back down.

Just got the proboards app so I thought I'd post some pics lol... My one run pacer this year, inspectors made me cut 4 inch holes in the top of the frame in front of the A-arms I should have put it back on the trailer. Got third out of 26 Attachments:

Nope looks like it bent where you had to torch it.

It went where I cut it. Completely trashed the k member when it opened up. That's what broke the fuel pump. Man that thing would have been a beast!

I used half inch steel plate that was cut to the shape of the frame for a K member spacer lol. I knew it was deep in the grey area but my thought was that I'd never seen one bend there anyway. Just wanted some extra bumper height. There was no way of getting it out at the derby and I was set on destroying something so I agreed to cut. Lots of good stuff on that pacer... Vic spindles, s10 steering box, Vic core support, ect. Tried a lot with that one. Just took so long to build. After that I followed the family into big cars and like it better.

Well maybe someday I'll learn how to build a pacer seems like there is a lot you need to no to make them hard all the way around
