might have a chance at gettin a pacer. i know they are hard cars thats why they are outlawed in most places. what are some of the odds and end tricks of these cars?

change the bumpers,replace ball joints with grade 8 bolts,put in a good engine, mines a v8, and hit with the front.

what are the places that should be taken care of others then thoose? is there any welding needed upfront or in the rear

Rear axles aren't the best. x2 and the gears suck too ....weld rear hump seam or stitch with no 9 wire they will split

will the rear out of a fairmont/ LTD2 work? what rears fit in them with lil modification?

would a himelink (spelling) like on a 3 point hitch of a tractor, with a bolt and a washer welded on it work for ball joints?

I used a 4.0 jeep rearend under mine with no big modifications ..worked pretty good with my 2.3

Depends what it's out of. 9's come in many widths from way too wide, to way too narrow.

Yes it will work. The ones I have used most are out of 60s fords are a couple inches narrower than the 70s I have used but still work just fine.
