If any of you guys cut your taillight wires and wonder why your fuel pump won't run, it is because you fuel pump grounds through the tail lights. Splice the black wire and ground it. Also, on the rear drivers side under the trunk lid there is a fuel shut off. Unbolt the 2 9mm blots (or just simply unplug the boot,) splice the two wires which I believe are white and red/green and wire them together. This bypasses the fuel shutoff.

damoose, try to do the back end like this. They seem to back better. Weld your trunk lid on the sides, fit out the speaker deck, an use a backhoe or suck to suck the trunk lid all the way to the floor, it will help the back go a long way!

I have a pretty rusted 1990 Tempo 4 cyl. that would be run in a stock show. The rear brake lines are completly rusted out. I only want to run front brakes. My question is... There is 4 ports on the master cylinder (2 on the left, 2 Under the cylinder...) Wich ones are the rear breakes port? I want to plug them...
Thanks!

^ I usually just bend mine, kink them, and take a ball ping hammer and mast the brake lines flat. Or, I haven't done it because I don't want to buy new brake line, get two compression fittings and see if you can connect the two together. Not sure if you could since one works one side and the other the opposite.

Plugging them at the master cylinder is much better. No idea which lines go where in them but can't be too hard to trace them.

ok guys ran into a little trouble.. ive got an 84 tempo I ran last year parked it in the barn never touched it up until last month and when I parked it all gears worked and it ran and drove like a champ. problem now is it will start but wont stay running unless my foots on the gas and I couldn't even get it up on the trailer under its own power. now back wheels are locked up but that's because of the fenders are pinching them..i had to use a tractor to push it on trailer.. any thoughts as to what I maybe dealing with here. im lil inexperienced when it comes to fords and its my first car.. please help!

Sounds like the mass airflow sensor to me, mine did the same. Try unplugging it, if I recall it is on the tube running from the intake to the air filter box.

Look for mouse/rabbit chewed wires/vacuum lines.......maybe old gas.....maybe mouse nest in exhaust or in air breather.
