Cause I'm thinking on if I should keep the stock rear diff or run that 9 inch I got.

I ran mine cause the previous one I had I never lost an axle in it so thought I'd do it again but maybe I'm just lucky.

I put 5 runs on my stock rear before it lost an axle. That axle did take 3-4 track shots before it broke though. The car is pretty rough, but not dead yet. Had a Duke with a Ford 4 speed all those runs. Has another stock rear and a 307/auto in it now. Will hopefully polish it off next August.

That does it selling the 9" for beer money and running the stock axle!

It was kind of embarrassing when it broke. I let a kid that I like put together a 1700 pound 77 Honda to run. That's the car that finally picked it off.

Is everyone rebolting the sub like on a fwd car ? Also thinking on 16" doughnuts up front, or would the added height of a full size tire be better ?

There is no sub.
Also, everyone complains about the spindles. Had to run it with full size to finally bend one. I'm no engineer, but I think jacking up the suspension for bumper height, and running low profile tires up front has something to do with that.
