He knew how to use that nose to push in some trunks for sure... But what was the deal at the end? The crowd voted for what place the top 3 took or were they 3 going into the feature? I couldn't hear it all that well?

61 seem to different than the rest. Not sure about 62. But the ass end are different. Has the pipe running from hump to hump to bolt the shocks to like the old fords. My friend's 63 has the same body shape, but the gas tank is in a different location. Just wondering if it's going to be weaker than the rest of the other years.

With minor exceptions all of the 61-69 models are very similar, and any differences in performance are likely due to build type or pure luck.

Here are some of the tips I saved off the original website before the plug was pulled, I have not used any of them as I have not built a suicide, I just saved them and figured I would share. Everything I post is something that came up more than once, from more than one person, which is the criteria I used for saving it: For everyone thats has Q's on steering linkage, rotors etc. You can take the whole front steering linkage to include rotors, spindles, brake lines, brake booster etc off a 71-77 linc cont and it will interchange and bolt right up to the 61-69 Linc. You need to make a few adjustments on your steering box. But this will give you power brakes and lower your steering linkage. A arms will bolt right up. Replace bolts with better grade. I just replaced everything from a 74 linc to a 66. As far as the rear end, Use chevy s10 springs or shorter springs in the back, Then notch the back from about 6 inches from perches and this will fold up real nice. Now I have let the cat out of the bag. Short stack rear to get it to roll well. Short stack means a stack like on a trailer, melt lead out of body seams to get another area to weld, thick door plates on the bottom help keep the body from bending Lower the steering gear on the it as well, a couple inches or so, bumper should get welded straight to the frame, or even better, long brackets should be used on the front to help compensate for the bubble in the front frame. Rear backets of 70s gms are the way to go spindles off of a 70s ltd are good, centerlink can also be bent down for clearance, crossmember will need to be notched for steering clearance Most commonly used bumpers are pointies, 74 impalas, or some Chryslers, flat bumpers are good to have front suspension is junk, especially spindles and ball joints, thicker floors always good too Do you know if the a arms, both upper and lower off a 77 ltd will fit or only the 70's lincs? I want to switch all of it as I've bent spindles a arms ball joints and lower spring pockets on the ones I've ran. I was also just informed on another site that it might be possible to swap in 70's gm stuff?

I just picked up a pretty clean 67 coupe, but someone broke the rear quarter window between me buying and me picking up. If anyone is stripping one, please holler at me and I would love to swing a deal for that piece of glass.

When putting in a short flat stacked leaf pack, do you guys use either of the factory mounting brackets and do you try to move the pack as far forward or as far to the back of the car? Doesn't seem to be much to mount too, the so-called frame rails are flimsy except at the factory stock location and the mounting on the side of the sub under the read doors really leave no place to mount a new leaf?? What am I missing (besides my hair trying to figure this out? )
