I’d tilt at firewall/crossmember first, then a arms forward to finish leveling

When tilting Infront of the a arms how fare down are u guys pulling these? If I pull it down completely level the front 6" of the frame will be nosed down? Depends on the rule set. If you can cut more of that off its not as big of a deal. Or if you can do another tilt and pull that area back up, that is beneficial if you need to keep it that long. If it were me, take out the bend in front of a arms, set your rear height and tilt at the crossmember. Ive never seen anything good tilting at the boxes on an 03+ (plus its a gigantic pain in the ass). I couldnt see anyway to tilt at crossmember first and have the frot level out very well unless you have done multiple just because they can get straighter but will never be perfectly straight.

I welded in 80 Vic cradle in a 08 frame installed steering box and where the steering shaft comes down right by the cradle is super close to touching frame which will make it hard to steer. If it bends

If it bends same thing with a welded gm cradle tight spot with shaft I heated it and peened it down about an inch

I would say in front of the a arms first over anything, then start looking at the firewall or crossmember.

Is it really possible to cold bend it in front of the a arms? It seems it would take a lot to try and get it to bend there.

Knowing that i’d Start tilting at the crossmember a couple inches then finish at the firewall, I have seen them if you do it fully at the crossmember they’ll go up at the firewall and down at the crossmember but I have no idea whether the car was rusty or what variables played into it.
