Therew as no welding allowed period! Not on the car or bumpers. Just allowed to weld in a cage. Tough car still

Duct tape, works wonders in those type of situations. Do you mean as in weld and then cover it with duct tape? You can do that. I meant just duct tape the shut out of it and make sure it won't fall off. With a good amount of wire and duct tape, the bumper will never come back off.
