I have three options for a car to buy, but I have no clue which is the best, any help would be appreciated
67 polara sedan 67 newyorker 2door 69 newyorker
My builds are pretty stock compared to most peoples, but I am allowed to weld quite a bit.

to me personally i would get the 67 polara because i like the square looking yframers rather than the 69-73 body style but they all should be pretty much the same strength as long as they are all about the same rust wise

Run the 2 door first if u can, IMO they seem to be a bit stronger in the middle, plus pre 69 coupes just look way cooler

If you run the 2 door, read your rules. At least were i run the rules have a set distance behind the door jam or drivers seat for the seat bar. Odviously 2 doors have longer doors so that puts your cage farther back. Also our rules give us a set distance from the seat bar for our halo bar that can go to the floor. That puts it landing right on top of the rear unibody frame, thus you have now tied your front and rear subs. 2 door all the way.

all should have an 8-3/4 but the 67 NYer will have the better 742 center section, while the 67 Polara may have the 741 instead. You'll have to look to be certain. Also, I've never quite figured out the pattern but some of the Dodge and Plymouth sedans have a shorter wheelbase while all the 65-73 Chryslers have the same long wheelbase. The 69-73 round body Y frame isn't as desirable a derby car as the 65-68 square body but the difference isn't huge so base your decision in part on rust condition. Any of these have engines? 67 NYer had the 440 and is a forged crank engine worth some bucks, and more bucks if it has the desirable 915 heads. 69 440 is also worth some bucks and should have the 906 heads. 67 Polara could have 318, 383, or 440 from the factory.
That's about all I can think of. For the 65-68 cars I personally think the sheet metal is better on the Chryslers than on the Dodge and Plymouth versions

I think the 67 new yorker has a tougher trunk (why, I have no idea)
like dm440 says it has allot to do with how much rust ya got
