What do you think of a 67 fury compared to the 73 new yorker? Only ever ran 1 fury. It was a 68 furyI In my opinion those 2 cars are very comparable. Both really lack in quarter panel strength. Both just flat boards and very long. Both have great front clips that are easy to wrap around to strengthen core support. Id say in my experience both cars are virtually identical as far as strength. 65-68 chrysler are best dodge second then plymouth

73 has extra gusset in front stub but has a upward angle of frame vs 68 should be a over all straighter angle. I got guys that swear by 67s. When they come to buy the all want 66 and 67s.

What do you think of a 67 fury compared to the 73 new yorker? There’s not much different you will lose your steering little sooner in the 73 in my opinion. Both good cars

Is that a good idea? Yep. Don't notch it like a ford or gm. Just a simple torch slice across and a few whacks with a maul to dimple it will get you there. Then instead of running your althread thru the factory hole in the rear rails straight up. Erin it thru that hole at an angle towards the tuck so it takes more force to push it back straight as trunk rolls
