^^^^^Just ran my first w body on Sunday...2 door Regal. Half-a$$ed slapped together in 2 days. I only ran about 5-6 minutes...not long enough to hurt it. Looks like the oly way to keep the sub straight would be to plate it or stuff it...that's quite an arch. I relocated the rear bumper...onto the driver door Ran w/o a rear bumper, tucked, notched & pre bent....rear is going perfect. Crush boxes definitely have to go before it gets run again.
I ran it far from home. Kuckily, since it is pre ran, one area promoter is gonna let me chop it down to qualify as a compact. Looking at the rear suspension, it looks like a 4 inch chop will be pretty simple.

Oh yes. Crush boxes are a def they have to go. We've ran with and without rear bumpers notched pre bent. Just dunno if its ppl getting up higher than us or what the rears still.seem to drop had one going up on one side n down on the other.

What does cutting out the crush boxes do exactly?

It's a factory crumple zone. On these, they just happen to be sticking out at the end of the frame rails. I left them on, and they did exactly what they were supposed to.

Yeah pritty easy to find them. Cut them off and hardnose. The bumper straight on the rails if your lucky you can also weld front of sub to bottom of the bumper.

LOL I'm gonna take a stab n say it's happened to you as well passenger side closed the notch couldent of had it go any better driver's. Side yeah. Not so hot. Folded @ the notch then took a hard turn south by The rear strut tower.

The rears are easy to fix so they roll in even, open the trunk and take a look at how far back the drivers side wheel well sits compared to the pass side ( cause of the gas tank filler tube) that's why the drivers side always goes to crap. Hope that helps ;D

ive never had ours go below the pullies but we put a shocker mopar bumper shock in the frame with the allthread thru it and we take the pucks out and suck the sub tight and weld them together. my next one is running in january and im trying a pointy on the front

Ran 3 luminas now 13 times total between the 3, never had problem with driver side of ass end goin to hell, only had one front frame rail bend, and never bellied one out in ass. Also flattened my 76monte Carlo on the one that I bent frame on. To me these are the best and easiest car to build
