I’ve got a 94 4 door Lumina. If I crease the rear and dish the trunk, should I notch? This is my first compact

So I'm not really much of a welder. Any opinions on bolting in a seat bar?

If your allowed all 4 bars you'd be better off with something like this The only reason I built that seat bar was because rules only allowed 1 bar but I'm a strong believer in maxing out cage rules. Whatever you end up doing be safe and have fun that's the main things.

You can see where I bolted it in this pic. I've done this many times years ago. I wouldn't recommend it though, eventually mine always pushed forwards.

What all needs to be changed to bolt the subframe out of a bubble lumina to a sqaure body lumina? Just struts?

Keep the square body struts in so you can use 14" tires. Everything else will bolt up the same. Trans/motor mounts can be different depending what you're doing for a drivetrain.

Will be using 3100 motor and trans out of a 99 bubble top. I have the option to bolt the subframe and all up to another cleaner bubble top also, but what do you all prefer? Bubble top luminas or sqaure body luminas? I've ran both styles and done pretty good in both. Pros and cons?

Stock, the rear suspension on a bubble is better. If you can have solid shocks on the back and get rid of the monoleaf on the square body, I prefer them. There isn't a big difference, can't go wrong with either.

How thick should the walls of my tubing be for seat bar?

Seat bars are garbage. Build a 4 pt cage. I'm not trying to be a dick, I've built many cars with seat bars, won't do it again.

Unfortunately they do not. Seat bar, 1 bar in dash, and 1 in passenger door. Halo bar and gas tank protector permitted. Anything in drivers door
