I've tried putting a different K frame in one but you'd have to cut a lot out of the existing body/sub frame to make it work. I'm going to try to run stock front suspension if I ever get back around to building again. Rear end swap would be easy to do with a 4 link setup by making mounting brackets and welding in to the sub frame. I've spent a lot of time under one just figuring things out. The only problem I see is if the fords can tilt, that takes away any advantage to compete against them. If you don't mind me asking, what K frame did you try to make work?

Anybody have any new reports on scrap?
I took a load in this week and got $100 a ton. Not great but better than $60 a few months ago.

What do you mean?
Like why did they change from the traditional 4 link?

Yes that would be what I’m looking for is non skin bumper that looks pretty stout gotta hit some local yards and try and find one now I've left several on the rears of caprices and they were all straight after the trunk rolls up. Kinda wish I woulda cut them off and saved them, but oh well.

Probably a long shot here but picked up a 97 lumina going to be for 80s and newer stock class mostly running against bubble Vics and metric gms we don’t have 108 compact classes my rules say I have to use a factory appearing bumper that has to bolt on what would be my best bet for bumper choice? Depends how factory appearing you need, but the rear bumpers on bubble caprices are probably the strongest factory non chrome skin bumper.

The ad is from over 2 years ago and he hasn't been on here for over a year.
I'd say he's not going to reply.

Looks like you could cut a bunch of the rails off up front to reduce leverage.
