Of course. Alot easier on trans, drive shaft, and rear end when you take the torque of the engine off of them.

No, watts is a 98 and newer set up.
Those 70s Fords had a goofy 3 link set up.
I've heard of guys building trailing arms and modifying watts link conversion brackets to convert them though.
I would think with some basic fabrication skills a guy could convert them to normal 4 link conventional suspension pretty easily.

Any thing hard with not alot of point. I’ve been told the opposite of this by many Run anything you want, but if it was up to me I'd personally run something like a flat mopar bumper, just as cheez already said. In stock form the noses aren't super stout.

Just wondering if anyone has ran a collapsible steering shaft ? If so pros an cons plz all knowledge is appreciated. Did you ever build one. I just ran across this because I was bored. I build one in 09 I think. Was in a 01 road master wagon. That's a rare wagon.

Does anybody remember the gentleman who built the 60s and 70s Fords? He had pictures of a Galaxie he built that was super low wedged in the back. I thought that was the coolest thing ever like 15 years ago. I wanna say his user name was like Killer120 or Ki11er or something like that. Wanna say he was also from the North East?

Another grinder story, my brother had a chunk of plate in a bench vice and was using an angle grinder to clean up the torch cut edges, while leaning into the work material his hoodie string got caught in the grinder. The grinder wound itself up towards his face at a rapid pace, ultimately slamming into his mouth knocking out 2 of his teeth.
Lesson? Take those hood strings out.

Thanks, I did not see it when I looked for it, I will look again. Here ya go. we-crash.proboards.com/thread/27327I've seen a couple run. Honestly they weren't great. The front frame horns dip down and out kinda like a 70s ford but worse. They tend to spaghetti out right there pretty ugly.

water in the steering box? flush it out and then put tranny fluid in instead of power steering fluid. That was my first thought too, water in the box.
