If you are unwilling to change your vehicle to comply to rules, you will not compete. Vehicles that don't pass 2nd time will be loaded.Your choice, read the rules and build to the rules. This will speed up the inspection process for everyone. Thanks for your cooperation.

Entry Fee: All entry fees are only $60 each for every class and includes the drivers pit pass. Fullsize car/wagon class will increase to $75 week before derby date. We prefer pre entries in all classes to help give us a idea on who plans on participating. General Rules for all drivers:
All drivers must wear a approved helmet, seat belt, eye protection, shirt, pants and closed toe shoes or boots. Driver must keep helmet and seatbelt on till end of heat, unless directed by an official that it is safe to get out. We recommend drivers wear a full face helmet, neck brace, gloves and fire suit for safety. All vehicles must have a number of your choice on both front doors OR a roof sign with your number on it.
You are given 2 chances only to pass inspection.Read and Build to the rules for your class. We are not lets make a deal game show, you should know the rules and be to the rules before inspection. Officials and inspectors decisions are final. No arguing or fighting will be tolerated.Leave the attitudes at home.
You are given 20 seconds to make a aggressive hit and 30 seconds if hung up or stalled. Fans pay to see a show, not to see who can avoid the most hits in a demolition derby. Sandbagging will not be tolerated. This is your warning. If your in a heat with a known sandbagger hit him with your vehicle to wake him up. All winning vehicles may be reinspected after the heat or feature by officials/inspectors. If caught cheating driver will forfeit any entry fee, prize money and/or trophy. There is no point of having a set of rules, if they are not enforced.
Fire Rule: You have a fire on the track your DQ'ed from competition. If it caught on fire once,it probably will again. We are not going to keep stopping action for same vehicle, not fair to the other drivers.
If you get hung up on another vehicle or wall, you got 30 seconds to break free. We are not going to stop action to pull you off, don't put yourself in that situation.
NO holding:
Don't hold a vehicle so your buddy can come hit him.Catch and release.
Team driving:
This is not a team event, but being on a team, family members, friends or having a silent partner is hard to enforce. So if your the lone ranger out there you are gonna have to out drive the other drivers. At end of day there is only one winner. Eventually you and your team mate, friend, family member or the enemy is going to battle it out for the win.
Drivers doors:
Do not hit drivers door. Sometimes accidents will happen, but if we feel it was intentional you will be DQ'ed. Do not use drivers door as a shield, this could cause you to get DQ'ed instead.
Keep vehicle at idle in the pit area for everyones safety. We are not responsible for any accidents.
Protest Fee: There is a $200 protest fee in each class.Protest must be done before drivers meeting. If vehicle is found illegal, car and driver will be disqualified and protester will get his money back. If the vehicle is found legal the driver will get $100 and the protester will get disqualified. You must be a driver in same class to protest another vehicle in same class.
Over 3,500 seats on nice newer aluminum bleachers, not including the newer aluminum bleachers in the pits also.
Several nice clean porta potties in the pits.
On sight the worlds largest round barn.
Over 500 camping sights on the grounds, over 100 with electric, sewer and water. Several hotels and motels in town to stay at also.
Fairgrounds are over 56 acres total.Several food vendors along with nice amusement rides and other things to see and do at the fair.
