Bone stock wire class rules cars built as they came off street gm to gm ford to ford etc. Would a Chevy box caprice be good or better then a 80s Chrysler 5th ave

Both are pretty equal. I prefer the 5th ave but really I have won with both cars over the years. Both tend to be one and done cars but I sure do prefer a 318 over a 350 every day of the week

Pros & cons depending on specific rules. The one thing that would make it an easy decision is if you had to use stock body mounts up front, then it would be the 5th Ave all day. Front height is also adjustable on the 5th Ave without any modifications.

I was assuming bone stock since he said off the street. So mopar has my vote soley on the torsion bar adjustment. sneak some hump chains on and send it. you have 2 slightly better ends on the mopar than the gm BONESTOCK. Both have junk bumpers but my vote is the 5th ave still.

Yes it’s bone stock the promoter wants it to be how grandma would have drove it minus windows

80s Chrysler. Wasn’t bone stock. But more of a stock build. They knew we were there. 🤙🏻

Gotcha. Never ran an 80s Chrysler. I was just the passenger.

R body has potential but needs pretty heavy build rules. And I'm not sure I'd put 800# of diffy & tires under a car if the rules wouldn't allow me to properly secure it.
