Currently working on a new car, battery is mounted near the gas tank protector it’s protected from anything hitting the battery but is it in an area where it could get shook from a hard cage hit? Does anybody have any advice on this, I know mount it to the floor passenger seat no problem but running a passenger and looking for as much seat room as possible

Past however many years I have built all my battery boxes into the cage, no issues yet with them getting rattled or whatever. More of my issue would be if any of your wiring comes loose, can you actually access it to try to fix it on the track?

Ya have ran passenger cars before and mounted battery behind passenger and back bar and worked out fine. just make sure wires are all safe and secure and you won't have to fix on the track. Nothing should have the opportunity to rattle or loosen up.

I like mine right up to the back of motor less wires and cables. If you gotta have long cables they’re gonna get hot. I would put over trans hump hanging off your cage.
