Alright I'm going to start off with I never run gm so don't know anything about how aftermarket stuff is supposed to be put on. So the problem I've got is my cousin has a 305 with a 350 trans and he purchased a cable shifter from a gentleman that makes derby parts and for the life of us we cannot get it to work. So does anyone have pictures of how you're supposed mount one of these because we've done everything the guys we know who run gm have told us to do and nothing is getting it any closer to working. In my opinion the guy who made it messed up on the brackets and the shifter but I could be wrong.

Have you asked the guy that made the shifter? Typically they are pretty helpful getting you dialed in on how to install stuff.
And usually if that doesn't work, they will go out of their way to make it right if it's a part error.

I'm trying to not be one of those bash a product maker people but from the beginning he's had nothing but issues with this guy and ik alot of others had started having issues dealing with this particular brand of products when he ordered it and its been a bit of a nightmare from the beginning.

Ended up cutting bracket apart and re-welding it the correct way. Place he got it from had it all messed up. But with the redoing of bracket it works just like its supposed to.
