So I looked in some threads but wasn't finding what I was looking for. Basically I've been a car guy late 70s caddy and ran some trucks but I think this year mini trucks have really peaked my interest and Ford rangers are bountiful around here which from research seems like the best choice. Having ran some trucks I am pretty confident in building them but my question comes down to this. Looking at most of the trucks available to me are 2.9 v6s what do guys do with this you can run v8s otherwise I'd be modding it for my 350. So do guys run the efi 2.9s with pretty much stock with headers or what's the tips with working with these small motors?

Alot noof parts out there for them. But if you can v8 them I'd put sbc in it.

so I got a 99 durango and the top ball joints are trash been ran twice so far and now want to put bolts instead of joints. How would one go about doing this being the ball joint is offset an inch or 2 from the top a arm, can only add 1 plate to the a arm?
