PLEASE READ THESE RULES THROUGHLY AND COMPLETELY
2020 IS A NO EXCUSE AND NO EXCEPTION YEAR!!!
ALL JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL!!!
Please read carefully. If car does not pass inspection or driver is unwilling to change car to pass
inspection, absolutely no refunds!!! All rules will be followed or you will not run! If it does not
say it in the rules – don’t just assume you can do it. CALL FIRST!!!!
ANY COUNTY FAIR HAS THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY ENTRY AND SPECTATOR
ADMITTANCE.
1. Pit gate opens at 2:30 pm DERBY START at 7:30 pm
2. An entry fee of $40 will be charged for each car entered. This is for only the day of the drivers meeting in FEB 29TH AT 10AM only.
3. The day of the show Wednesday July 22nd an entry fee of $50 will be charged
for each car entered and $30 for passenger. $25 for pit passes Fees must be paid prior to
inspection. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE DUE TO FAILURE TO MEET REGULATIONS!
All cars should be signed in 1 hour before race time and inspected one hour before race time.
Late fee will apply, example after 6:30 pm, if show starts at 7:30 pm and 2:00 pm if the shows
starts at 3:00 pm. drivers $100 and riders $50. This is to ensure the race starts on time.

GENERAL RULES
4. Top five in feature must actively compete at end, no driving yourself on barriers or dirt berms.
Failure to comply could result in complete restart with all feature qualifiers actively competing
again or disqualification.
5. No reinforcements allowed other than specified in these rules. Any metal added to reinforce
the car is illegal. You will only be allowed 2 trips thru the inspection line.
6. NO PAINTING, UNDERCOATING, OILING OR GREASING OF FRAMES. YOU WILL
NOT BE INSPECTED. THIS INCLUDES PAINTING OF THE FRAME FLAT BLACK.
7. NO HITTING IN DRIVERS DOOR, but no using driver door as a shield. If the hit is deemed
by the official to be careless or intentional, you will be disqualified. If you use your driver’s door
as a defense, we will not enforce the rules. If you use the door as a defense repeatedly you will
be disqualified. This will be at the judges’ discretion.
8. NO hot-rodding in the pits! Keep it at an idle.
9. Any open door or second fire will cause disqualification. If in a heat, you may fix it and come
back in the consolation. In the feature, you will be disqualified.
10. You must make AGGRESSIVE contact every 60 seconds.
11. Sandbagging is not tolerated and will be strictly enforced. Locking up the brakes prior to a
hit for anything other than a driver’s door will be cause for disqualification. The fans pay to see a
show, put one on for them!
12. IF YOU THINK SOMEONE IS SANDBAGGING, HIT THEIR CAR WITH YOUR CAR
ON THE TRACK.
13. Winning cars plus three out of the money must remain on track until released by officials, or
will not be paid prize money. Cars are subject to re-inspection before any prize money is handed
out. Cars found illegal will be stripped of all prize money for that event.
14. Any questions or controversies will be discussed at the drivers meeting
15. YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST A 12” X 12” ROOF SIGN WITH YOUR CAR NUMBER
ON IT.
16. All drivers must pick up trophies and earnings at the completion of the event, or forfeit. They
will not be available after that date.
17. All persons MUST sign entry form, insurance waiver, release form, pay entry fees, and
purchase pit pass before entering pit area.
18. THERE IS NO ALCOHOL IN THE PITS. This includes pit crews. If you or ANY of your
crew is caught with alcohol, you will be disqualified.
19. No harassing of the judges will be allowed at any time by drivers, passengers, crewmembers
or spectators. Failure to abide by this rule, the driver will forfeit all money and all involved will
be escorted from premises.
20. Registration forms will be filled out the day of the event. All drivers must be at least 16 years
of age; drivers 16 and 17 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a minor release form
21. All drivers must wear approved helmets, eye protection either safety glasses or visor on
helmet, long pants, and shirt. Also all drivers and riders must wear working seat belts. This will
be enforced in 2020 or you will not run!!!!
22. - Drivers must remain in the vehicle with helmet, seatbelt and eye protection on until
notified by an official that it is safe to exit the vehicle.
23. A driver that receives a black flag for an intentional door hit will be disqualified from all
competition for that night. A driver that receives a black flag for sandbagging or 1 fire in the
interior of the car will be disqualified. 2 fires on the exterior will be disqualified, if in heat you
may go to consolation. This will be at the judges’ discretion.
24. This is not a team event; team driving will not be tolerated
25. All drivers must attend drivers’ meeting prior to derby
26. All cars must be removed from derby site by 12:00 noon the following day unless otherwise
stated at drivers meeting. Failure to do this will result in cars being removed by and becoming
property of Fair Board.

not even inspect your car.

WELED OR BOLTED (WITH BOLT HEAD INSIDE THE CAR) OR RIVETED. NO # 9 WIRE OR CHAIN
This class is open to all men and women 16 years old and over. 16 and 17 years old must have a notarized permit signed by parent/guardian. In fairness to all the following rules and regulations shall prevail.
Participant regulations
Driver may move forward or backward. Driver must make contact every 60 seconds or be disqualified. No sandbagging. No team driving. Cars must move when hit or show visible damage. No driver door hits allowed.
Preparation of Cars
This class is open to any year full-size car except no jeeps, trucks, rancheros, elcaminos, convertibles. NO carryalls, Hearsts, limos. NO Imperials or Imperial sub frames and Lincolns 61 to 70
For mini figure 8:THIS CLASS WILL BE OPEN TO FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CARS ONLY AND WHEEL BASE WILL NOT EXCEED 108 INCHES. Measured from center of wheel to center of wheel (must be factory 108 inches cannot move wheels
in). No screws allowed. NO PLASTIC GAS TANKS (heavy duty plastic racing fuel cells are allowed). No wedging, no sedagons, no jeeps, trucks. NO PACERS ALLOWED. No convertibles. All glass, chrome, pot metal, lights, carpet, headliner, back seats, fiber glass (anything flammable) must be removed before reaching the exhibit area. DO NOT BREAK GLASS IN DOORS. Trunks must be empty of all debris (spare tires, rims, etc.). Absolutely no welding but what is stated in these rules. Unlimited 9 wire. Mandatory you must have number on both front doors and roof big enough to see and must be bright enough colors to be seen. No profanity allowed on cars.
Engines
For mini figure 8 engine must be 4 or 6 cylinders and must be in stock position. No cradles or protectors YOU can have a simple carb protector from motor mounts on front to bolts on back of motor. ( no bigger then 2x3 material to be used)
MOTOR MOUNTS
YOU CAN USE A 2X2 SQUARE TUBING TO REPLACE FACTORY MOUNT BUT, NOTHING TO MAKE IT A KICKER.
Radiators
May be removed but not relocated
Transmission
TRANNY COOLERS ARE ALLOWED keep safety in mind when installing. NO PROTECTORS. YOU CAN HAVE A AFTER MARKET SHIFTER
Battery
Must be in a secure position, passenger side floor board and be covered with something nonflammable (like rubber floor mat). Batteries must be secure with no movement.
Suspension
Must remain stock. Except as stated in these rules. You may weld shocks, spacers allowed, c v shafts and tie rods may be modified. NO MODIFIED BALL JOINTS ETC.
Steering Column
May be modified from gear box to steering wheel. All other components must remain stock.
Hood
Must be in factory position. 4 hood bolts allowed but only 2 can go to the frame. They cannot go in front of the radiator. Bolts must not be bigger than 3⁄4 with washers no larger than 6 inches outside diameter. Must have 2 holes cut in hood big enough for fire extinguisher. Not directly over carburetor. Althread or bolts must be straight no making a L OUT OF THEM.
Trunk/Wagon tailgate/Hatches
You can use 4 3⁄4 bolts with washers not bigger than 6 inches outside diameter, none to the frame. Trunk lids must remain on hinges. You may tuck the trunk but no wedging and no sedagons. If you don’t bolt you may weld trunk 1 inch leave 6 inches. Hatches and wagon tailgates weld 1 inch leave 6 inches. ONLY 50% OF TRUNKS MAY BE TUCKED , V-D.
Body
No seam welding allowed. No patching allowed. Pre-denting is okay. Creasing is allowed no double creasing no welding or bolting creases.
Fenders
Fenders may be trimmed. 10 bolts per fender may be used. Bolts are not to be no bigger than 3/8 with washers no larger than 1 inch outside diameter.
Body mount bolts
Must be factory size and must be in factory location. Must have factory rubbers.
Frame
Absolutely no welding on frame. No reinforcing of frame. You can notch the frame. You can have (2) 4x4x1/4 inch plates for damaged area only. Must have at least 4 inches between all patches and brackets.
Doors
Doors may be welded solid with a strap no bigger than 3 inches, on the outside only. Driver’s and passenger door should be reinforced.
Cage
You may have a cage with two side bars and three bars across. The cage cannot extend past the dash area in the front and must be at least 4 inches in front of the rear wheel wells in the back. This can be welded in. Absolutely no kickers. You may have a halo bar no further back than 10 inched behind driver’s seat. None of the cage or halo bars can connect to the frame, or to windshield bars or roof signs. Cage must be at least 4 inches off of floor and no higher than bottom of door windows. Halo bars must be vertical.
Bumpers
FULL SIZED STOCK BUMPERS ALLOWED must be cut down to width of car.(CENTER OF FRONT TIRE TREAD) You may weld the bumper on. Bumper brackets may be welded on. NO back brackets on front. No stuffed bumpers. You can have 2- bumper straps 7 inches long x 1⁄4 x 4 inches wide must be flat strap. 1 per side of car. No pointy’s,

no other reconfiguration you can have strap or shocks not both shocks must be factory .BUMPER SKIN MAY BE WELDED.
Gas Tank
Maximum 5 gallons of gas. Gas tank must be placed in back seat area and properly secured. Tanks must be secured so there is no movement (DO NOT USE BUNGE CORDS FOR THIS). If tank is not secure you will not be running, Tanks must have secure lids and be leak proof. All fuel lines must have no leaks. Stock gas tanks in cars must be removed or have holes in them and be washed out. You may run stock tank if it is in front of rear axle. NO PLASTIC TANKS (exception heavy duty plastic racing fuel cell). You must have a shield between gas tank and driver. This shield must be metal or tin. This may be mounted with screws. NO FREON TANKS WITH LEGS WELDED ON THEM.
Tires
Any tire allowed. Valve stem protectors are okay. NO reinforcing of rims except around bolt holes (2 inch maximum on outside diameter of lug holes).
Back window bars
You may use nine wire or a chain in back window area chain links cannot be welded if you use chain you may use 2 3 x 3 plates to attach chain.
This is a stock type class do not exceed these rules. Do not do anything after inspection to make car illegal. If this happens you will be disqualified with no return of entry fee. Officials have the right to re- inspect cars at any time.
Safety Rules and Regulations
1. Cars must have at least one bar attached from roof down to dash area to prevent hood from coming in.
2. Radiator over flow hoses must be pointed at the ground and fastened so they cannot shoot water towards officials or other drivers.
3. Header pipes must be pointing straight up cannot be aimed towards front of cars.
4. Note if you have a hole in the fire wall it should be covered.
5. Safety belts required.
6. D.O.T. approved helmets mandatory. Any driver using an open face helmet will not be covered by insurance if facial injury occurs.
7. Safety glasses or shield recommended.
8. Mandatory-you must wear long pants and a shirt (fire suit recommended).
9. 2 fires and you are out unless it’s a fuel fire then it’s just 1 fire and you are out.
10. No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed in pit area or on the track.
11. NO PIT PERSONS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK.
12. Note management does have the right to disqualify a car/driver at any time. Any person on track or causing trouble and not complying with the rules will be asked to leave (we can have you escorted off or have you arrested and you can be banned from running or being in pit area at future).
Officials will re-inspect the top cars if needed.

Swartz’s Promotions
Payout outs are as follows:
1 st $400

Any trucks except 4-wheel drive, SUV’s, Dually’s or flatbeds will be allowed.
Preparation of Trucks
Trucks must be stripped and swept clean of all glass pot metal, carpet etc. anything flammable. Both
doors must be stripped clean of window regulators and door handles inside and out. Any moldings, trim,
or emblems must be removed. All hitches including bed hitches must be removed.
DOORS: Can be welded solid vertical seams on door skin
FRAMES:
NO welding on frames except for bumper mounting and drive train installation. No patching on frames.
Frames may be sectioned but may only be butt welded no over lapping or plating. No shortening of
frames. Trucks must remain stock wheel base.
CAGES:
At least a four-point cage. No kickers to frame but may run them to cab floor. Cage may not exceed
driver’s compartment. Driver’s safety comes first.
BUMPERS:
Bumper height on fresh trucks must not exceed 28 inches from ground to center of bumper. Car
bumpers may be used on front and back but must be OEM. Front bumpers may be reinforced inside
only! Do not abuse this rule!! If car back bumpers are used on the front, the license plate recess may be
filled in. If you run a rear bumper it must be trimmed within 6 inches of frame rails. Front bumpers may
be mounted as such, stock brackets or car shocks, or 2x4x1/4 rectangle tubing, or straight to the frame.
One or the other. Shocks or tubing can only go 8 inches back on or in the front frame. You may chain or
strap front bumpers, do not exceed 4 inches back on frame with straps or chain.
ENGINE:
Any motor and tranny combination to any truck. Mounting may only be done on K-member and tranny
mount. No engine plates. Transmission coolers may be used, but must be mounted in passenger’s
compartment or in center of the bed next to cab. (Keep safety in mind)
SUSPENSION:
No reinforcing A-arms, tire rods or drag links. Spring risers are allowed. Bolting A-arms solid is permitted,
as long as you do not weld or exceed bumper height. Spring clamps may be used on rear, 2 per side.
TIRES:
16.5 or smaller DOT or implement, 8 lug or less, no split rims, no screwed rims, no studded tires liquid
filled tires and bead locks ok
BATTERY:
Battery must be mounted and covered in passenger floor board. One battery per truck.
FUEL TANK:
Fuel tank must be mounted in front center of the truck bed. Steel or aluminum tanks only no plastic
tanks. Tanks must be secure and leak prof and covered with nonflammable material. (keep safety in
mind)
CAB:
Cab may be bolted solid to frame. Four places max. This can be done with 3/4 althread and 6x6 plates at
1/4-inch thickness max. At least one windshield bar from roof down to cowl. Doors may be welded solid
using no more then 1/8 inch and no wider than 4 inches.
RADIATORS:
Radiators must remain in stock position or can be removed. No radiator protectors. If metal is added to
mount radiator, keep it to minimum.
DRIVESHAFT:
Any driveshaft to any truck, but you must have a safety loop (this can be done with a piece of chain from
frame rail to frame rail under driveshaft)
REAREND:
Any 8 lug or less rear end maybe used. Rear end maybe welded.
FENDERS:
10 bolts per fender. Fenders maybe tucked and welded. Do not add metal.
HOOD:
Hood panels may be bolted or welded together. Bolts may be no larger than 3/8 diameter with 1 inch
diameter washer limit 20. A 12-inch hole must be cut in hood above carburetor if header holes are not
cut. Header holes must be cut plenty big for fire extinguishers to fit. Hoods may be bolted shut in 6
places. This can be done with 3/4 althread or smaller 6x6x1/4-inch plates. Only 2 can go through frame.
In addition, you can use #9 wire from hood to bumper (6 strands Max) Hoods must open for inspection.
BED:
Bed bolts may be replaced with 3/4 althread and 6x6x1/4 plates. No more than 8 places and these may
go through frame. You may have 2 additional bolts go from the front of the bed through the back of the
cab. Bed may be welded to cab using 1/8x4 flat may be welded solid. Tail gate may be welded solid if left
up. If bed sides are folded down, (Must have 8 inches of space in between) tailgate must remain behind
wheel wells. Sides and tail gate may be bolted down with 2 additional 3/4 althread (one per side) but
may only go through bed floor. You may use #9 wire in the bed but only in 4 places. You may go to bed
bolts but not to frame. Bed panels may be welded together using 11/2x11/2x1/8-inch angle iron. Angle
may be only 4 inches long and at least 6 inches apart. You may use a total of 16 angles inside of bed.
INSIDE only not on the bed rails.

Trunks must be empty of all debris (spare tires, rims, etc.). Absolutely no welding but what is stated in these rules. Unlimited 9 wire. Mandatory you must have number on both front doors and roof big enough to see and must be bright enough colors to be seen. No profanity allowed on cars.
Engines
For mini figure 8 engine must be 4 or 6 cylinders and must be in stock position. No cradles or protectors YOU can have a simple carb protector from motor mounts on front to bolts on back of motor. ( no bigger then 2x3 material to be used)
MOTOR MOUNTS
YOU CAN USE A 2X2 SQUARE TUBING TO REPLACE FACTORY MOUNT BUT, NOTHING TO MAKE IT A KICKER.
Radiators
May be removed but not relocated
Transmission
TRANNY COOLERS ARE ALLOWED keep safety in mind when installing. NO PROTECTORS. YOU CAN HAVE A AFTER MARKET SHIFTER
Battery
Must be in a secure position, passenger side floor board and be covered with something nonflammable (like rubber floor mat). Batteries must be secure with no movement.
Suspension
Must remain stock. Except as stated in these rules. You may weld shocks, spacers allowed, c v shafts and tie rods may be modified. NO MODIFIED BALL JOINTS ETC.
Steering Column
May be modified from gear box to steering wheel. All other components must remain stock.
Hood
Must be in factory position. 4 hood bolts allowed but only 2 can go to the frame. They cannot go in front of the radiator. Bolts must not be bigger than 3⁄4 with washers no larger than 6 inches outside diameter. Must have 2 holes cut in hood big enough for fire extinguisher. Not directly over carburetor. Althread or bolts must be straight no making a L OUT OF THEM.
Trunk/Wagon tailgate/Hatches
You can use 4 3⁄4 bolts with washers not bigger than 6 inches outside diameter, none to the frame. Trunk lids must remain on hinges. You may tuck the trunk but no wedging and no sedagons. If you don’t bolt you may weld trunk 1 inch leave 6 inches. Hatches and wagon tailgates weld 1 inch leave 6 inches. ONLY 50% OF TRUNKS MAY BE TUCKED , V-D.
Body
No seam welding allowed. No patching allowed. Pre-denting is okay. Creasing is allowed no double creasing no welding or bolting creases.
Fenders
Fenders may be trimmed. 10 bolts per fender may be used. Bolts are not to be no bigger than 3/8 with washers no larger than 1 inch outside diameter.
Body mount bolts
Must be factory size and must be in factory location. Must have factory rubbers.
Frame
Absolutely no welding on frame. No reinforcing of frame. You can notch the frame. You can have (2) 4x4x1/4 inch plates for damaged area only. Must have at least 4 inches between all patches and brackets.
Doors
Doors may be welded solid with a strap no bigger than 3 inches, on the outside only. Driver’s and passenger door should be reinforced.
Cage
You may have a cage with two side bars and three bars across. The cage cannot extend past the dash area in the front and must be at least 4 inches in front of the rear wheel wells in the back. This can be welded in. Absolutely no kickers. You may have a halo bar no further back than 10 inched behind driver’s seat. None of the cage or halo bars can connect to the frame, or to windshield bars or roof signs. Cage must be at least 4 inches off of floor and no higher than bottom of door windows. Halo bars must be vertical.
Bumpers
FULL SIZED STOCK BUMPERS ALLOWED must be cut down to width of car.(CENTER OF FRONT TIRE TREAD) You may weld the bumper on. Bumper brackets may be welded on. NO back brackets on front. No stuffed bumpers. You can have 2- bumper straps 7 inches long x 1⁄4 x 4 inches wide must be flat strap. 1 per side of car. No pointy’s,

no other reconfiguration you can have strap or shocks not both shocks must be factory .BUMPER SKIN MAY BE WELDED.
Gas Tank
Maximum 5 gallons of gas. Gas tank must be placed in back seat area and properly secured. Tanks must be secured so there is no movement (DO NOT USE BUNGE CORDS FOR THIS). If tank is not secure you will not be running, Tanks must have secure lids and be leak proof. All fuel lines must have no leaks. Stock gas tanks in cars must be removed or have holes in them and be washed out. You may run stock tank if it is in front of rear axle. NO PLASTIC TANKS (exception heavy duty plastic racing fuel cell). You must have a shield between gas tank and driver. This shield must be metal or tin. This may be mounted with screws. NO FREON TANKS WITH LEGS WELDED ON THEM.
Tires
Any tire allowed. Valve stem protectors are okay. NO reinforcing of rims except around bolt holes (2 inch maximum on outside diameter of lug holes).
Back window bars
You may use nine wire or a chain in back window area chain links cannot be welded if you use chain you may use 2 3 x 3 plates to attach chain.
This is a stock type class do not exceed these rules. Do not do anything after inspection to make car illegal. If this happens you will be disqualified with no return of entry fee. Officials have the right to re- inspect cars at any time.
Safety Rules and Regulations
1. Cars must have at least one bar attached from roof down to dash area to prevent hood from coming in.
2. Radiator over flow hoses must be pointed at the ground and fastened so they cannot shoot water towards officials or other drivers.
3. Header pipes must be pointing straight up cannot be aimed towards front of cars.
4. Note if you have a hole in the fire wall it should be covered.
5. Safety belts required.
6. D.O.T. approved helmets mandatory. Any driver using an open face helmet will not be covered by insurance if facial injury occurs.
7. Safety glasses or shield recommended.
8. Mandatory-you must wear long pants and a shirt (fire suit recommended).
9. 2 fires and you are out unless it’s a fuel fire then it’s just 1 fire and you are out.
10. No alcoholic beverages or drugs allowed in pit area or on the track.
11. NO PIT PERSONS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK.
12. Note management does have the right to disqualify a car/driver at any time. Any person on track or causing trouble and not complying with the rules will be asked to leave (we can have you escorted off or have you arrested and you can be banned from running or being in pit area at future).
Officials will re-inspect the top cars if needed.

Swartz’s Promotions
Payout outs are as follows:

Any trucks except 4-wheel drive, SUV’s, Dually’s or flatbeds will be allowed.
Preparation of Trucks
Trucks must be stripped and swept clean of all glass pot metal, carpet etc. anything flammable. Both
doors must be stripped clean of window regulators and door handles inside and out. Any moldings, trim,
or emblems must be removed. All hitches including bed hitches must be removed.
DOORS: Can be welded solid vertical seams on door skin
FRAMES:
NO welding on frames except for bumper mounting and drive train installation. No patching on frames.
Frames may be sectioned but may only be butt welded no over lapping or plating. No shortening of
frames. Trucks must remain stock wheel base.
CAGES:
At least a four-point cage. No kickers to frame but may run them to cab floor. Cage may not exceed
driver’s compartment. Driver’s safety comes first.
BUMPERS:
Bumper height on fresh trucks must not exceed 28 inches from ground to center of bumper. Car
bumpers may be used on front and back but must be OEM. Front bumpers may be reinforced inside
only! Do not abuse this rule!! If car back bumpers are used on the front, the license plate recess may be
filled in. If you run a rear bumper it must be trimmed within 6 inches of frame rails. Front bumpers may
be mounted as such, stock brackets or car shocks, or 2x4x1/4 rectangle tubing, or straight to the frame.
One or the other. Shocks or tubing can only go 8 inches back on or in the front frame. You may chain or
strap front bumpers, do not exceed 4 inches back on frame with straps or chain.
ENGINE:
Any motor and tranny combination to any truck. Mounting may only be done on K-member and tranny
mount. No engine plates. Transmission coolers may be used, but must be mounted in passenger’s
compartment or in center of the bed next to cab. (Keep safety in mind)
SUSPENSION:
No reinforcing A-arms, tire rods or drag links. Spring risers are allowed. Bolting A-arms solid is permitted,
as long as you do not weld or exceed bumper height. Spring clamps may be used on rear, 2 per side.
TIRES:
16.5 or smaller DOT or implement, 8 lug or less, no split rims, no screwed rims, no studded tires liquid
filled tires and bead locks ok
BATTERY:
Battery must be mounted and covered in passenger floor board. One battery per truck.
FUEL TANK:
Fuel tank must be mounted in front center of the truck bed. Steel or aluminum tanks only no plastic
tanks. Tanks must be secure and leak prof and covered with nonflammable material. (keep safety in
mind)
CAB:
Cab may be bolted solid to frame. Four places max. This can be done with 3/4 althread and 6x6 plates at
1/4-inch thickness max. At least one windshield bar from roof down to cowl. Doors may be welded solid
using no more then 1/8 inch and no wider than 4 inches.
RADIATORS:
Radiators must remain in stock position or can be removed. No radiator protectors. If metal is added to
mount radiator, keep it to minimum.
DRIVESHAFT:
Any driveshaft to any truck, but you must have a safety loop (this can be done with a piece of chain from
frame rail to frame rail under driveshaft)
REAREND:
Any 8 lug or less rear end maybe used. Rear end maybe welded.
FENDERS:
10 bolts per fender. Fenders maybe tucked and welded. Do not add metal.
HOOD:
Hood panels may be bolted or welded together. Bolts may be no larger than 3/8 diameter with 1 inch
diameter washer limit 20. A 12-inch hole must be cut in hood above carburetor if header holes are not
cut. Header holes must be cut plenty big for fire extinguishers to fit. Hoods may be bolted shut in 6
places. This can be done with 3/4 althread or smaller 6x6x1/4-inch plates. Only 2 can go through frame.
In addition, you can use #9 wire from hood to bumper (6 strands Max) Hoods must open for inspection.
BED:
Bed bolts may be replaced with 3/4 althread and 6x6x1/4 plates. No more than 8 places and these may
go through frame. You may have 2 additional bolts go from the front of the bed through the back of the
cab. Bed may be welded to cab using 1/8x4 flat may be welded solid. Tail gate may be welded solid if left
up. If bed sides are folded down, (Must have 8 inches of space in between) tailgate must remain behind
wheel wells. Sides and tail gate may be bolted down with 2 additional 3/4 althread (one per side) but
may only go through bed floor. You may use #9 wire in the bed but only in 4 places. You may go to bed
bolts but not to frame. Bed panels may be welded together using 11/2x11/2x1/8-inch angle iron. Angle
may be only 4 inches long and at least 6 inches apart. You may use a total of 16 angles inside of bed.
INSIDE only not on the bed rails.
