Did I see a pic floating around on here a while back and where the rear brackets were like 3-4 footers? Pontiac rears?

73 Pontiac rear brackets. They're only sheet metal but are very long.

You can get 23" out of a dippy front shock, as for brackets some of the 60s cars had some really long brackets but they were never that heavy of metal, boarder line tin thickness.

Thanks guys, I have a good idea on what I’m going to do, I’m not sure what the minimum length will be that I need but the longer the better

If length isn't what you want move bumper back but don't shorten frame due to most rules don't let you shorten pass body mount but don't say the bumper can't but moved back. You know what I'm talking about since you saw pics then just add shock or bracket to back of bumper an you should get to a arms.

You are probably talking about this pic. That was a 72 Grandville, they were probably 1/8 plate if I remember right.
