You can put something in between the rails just don't let it stick out any further than Back of frame because first thing is going to band is your rear floor plans and with your flat stack leafs you won't get no flex in your humps. Just my opinion

What's under the duct tape? Nothing under it just a lot of layers to help hold them in place with the clamps. that's funny $hit

I always duct tape leafs to when rules allow. The strength is unreal. I run a bumper on the back of all mine but i do generally put a bubble vic rear bumper on the back just so it is softer or i leave stock y framer one if its not a shocker. Landshark is right to an extent. Shocker rears are pretty hard bumpers but id still run one of a softer kind

If it was me and since it is trimmed down like I always run my sub framers I'd leave it on. Just drill a hole in your shocks and collapse them in so it isn't too much leverage. Back it into a tree or something if need be to collapse them and then weld it a little. If you have the frame notched right at the back of your leafs and have your roll over bar to your front leaf perches it can't really dump there very easy because you are already controlling where it bends. I also like my roll over bar to go through the roof and weld it to the roof so that if it trys to dump at the floor or roll up it has to bend the roof as well. Make sure your Halo is welded to the skin or U bolt around bar through skin since it doesn't go through roof. BUT this is just my opinion and what I do.

Tie that firewall into your dash bar to in like 4 spots. Amazing the pressure that is on them plates once you cut the cage out after from how much the firewall shifts around during the derb

you need a rear bumper, single rail hit will completely destroy the backend if not. I use a front bumper off 61-4 fords upside down welded all the way around to trunk fenders underneath and frame. slants forward so its like the back is wedged ( which is what I do after the heat).

I got a rusty 73 impala bumper I may swap out with since most think I need softer one.

It'll be fine, I'd just run it. Gonna be nose out all night any way. Yep, just let her eat. I don't think with the combo you have the bumper would be the hard part putting strain on the frame as long as shocks are collapsed and sucked in. Bumper or no bumper with leafs like that it will put pressure in front of the humps. That is why it is important to tie cage in like stated above.
