Any clue how to wire up the tranny for low/reverse/lockup the converter ?

pin e (pink) to 12v +, ground pins a & b (dont remember the colors) will give you first gear. reverse will work fine. I am assuming demo so no need for lockup, and it wont work until 2nd anyway

thank you !! I should of stated this is for a non computer 4.3 which is carb'd. i take it wire setup be the same ?

Yes even if you are getting rid of the computer it will still be the same
