THE POLY ONES WILL RIP, BEEN THERE. THE SOLID ONES WILL HELP BREAK OTHER STUFF..... TRANSMISSIONS WERE NOT DESIGNED TO BE A STRUCTURAL MEMBER OF THE FRAME...NOT TELLING WHAT I USE NOW, BUT I DONT HAVE ANY MORE ISSUES...

I always run the $30 red neoprene chinamaneese transmission mounts from the local parts store. On everything I run. They work well and have some give. I think energy suspension of someone like that makes them. They are hanging on the wall right next to the Chinese chrome air cleaners. U talking bout them 45hp gain filters?

You can do something similar to this, only instead of the allthread as the attachment point, sandwich the mount on the front side of the crossmember and pressurize the nuts out of it.

Depending on your rules, you are only limited by your imagination.

I like that idea. Going to use a bowed 2x2 thickwall crossmember but couldn’t figure out how to mount the trans mount in a way that it is least likely to rip/bend. Using HRT steel bell and trans protector
