can you add this for 2019 thanks
03&up 2003 and up will follow all the rules listed here and all rules listed below as well. You have 2 options
option 1 -You can weld in a cradle from a 79-02 vic, marquis, etc. with the same configuration that it came with from the factory onto your 2003 & up frame. MAX weld bead is 3/8" wide and no added metal. -The cradle and suspension components must be welded within 2" of factory location. *measure from crush box bolt holes forward on both models. -You may tilt them in one location only
-you may have a factory spring pocket welded on the frame for your ball joint protector or a piece of square tube like listed above. (Spring pocket section CAN NOT BE WIDER THAN A-ARM)
-NO shortening the frame on 2003 & up -NO filling the crush point holes
Option 2 - you may run a bolt in style cradle - the cradle must not add any strength to the front frame beyond what the factory 79-02 cradle would in factory configuration. -No welding on the frame to cradle at all -utilize the factory bolting locations -cradle and all suspension components must mount within 2" of factory location -NO shortening the frame on 2003 & up -NO filling the crush point holes

Just seems more of a headache for the inspection crew when teching cars and adds more time involved in checking a car over. But I do appreciate the comments.

What about trans braces good bells and tail shafts for driver safety? Still no engine protectors tho. And seam weld a arms forward to help old iron? And all body mounts changed to 1/2 with a 1 inch spacer is it’s all factory size still but allows us to fix rust and mount motor and rearend easier. And are aftermarket motor mounts ok as long as they have rubber insert? And then finally, can we have a homemade crossmember to make everyone’s life easier

When you start changing body mounts and seam welding frame seams it ends up becoming a weld class. It’s a double edge sword.....I don’t have a problem with good Bell housings,or even a trans brace as long as it’s mounted on a rubber mount. I’ve never had a problem putting a rearend and engine in a wire car with stock body mounts....been doing it for years. Yes it maybe easier with the body off but a frame with no body tempts way too many with a welder.

Fair enough on the body mounts, seam welding a arms forward would be nice tho, that would just help the old iron guys out. 10/4 on the trans brace, that would be nice. The motor mounts would be nice, we have problems with the stock ones ripping apart with a lower cradle.
