been getting a few questions : aftermarket trans upgrades ....... we are allowing replacement stock type bell housings on the transmissions (steel ok, must be mounted on trans pump bolts only, no extra bracing !) no steel tail shaft housings. Radiators can be aluminum, but not reinforced. It says chain and bolt on upper control arm to gain height ....... that means on front of car, and don't get creative on the bolt. This is for gaining height, not strengthening car ....
no moving core support mount on frame ........ it must remain in factory spot.
We are allowing aftermarket steering columns, but not bracing to hold them that will strengthen car , or become a kicker, must still meet cage rules.
you may use rims with weld in centers and valve stem protectors ......
Bumpers ...... no aftermarket or homemade bumpers other than what rules state ...... no stuffed bumpers.

Had a few questions on Engine mounts for Chain class ...... Front lower cradle = cradle that mounts to factory block mounts on side of block, and the bolt holes beside the harmonic balancer ...... if it bolts anywhere else, or extends to any other part of the engine, you will have to remove those extras before running. This cradle is also not to be welded / bolted in, in such a way to enhance the strength of the car. The RULE says " NOTHING EXCESSIVE", and if the officials think it is being used to strengthen the car, you will be cutting! I gave everyone "EXTRAS" to help from breaking your expensive equipment, not to turn these into "SS" cars.
This is a chain class ....... doors, hood , trunk follow the rules closely, NO welding other than the drivers door !
