Can't top that roof top pic. But here we go anyways after repairs and a new motor plan on taking this mod car back to Lodgepole, and finishing up the remainder of the 18 season with it. Wife decided on building a bubble lumina, no pics yet on that. And I'm building a gen 2 w with a gen 1 sub to end the whole, the sub is the only difference theory. And lastly set to build my very first heavy built cradle w body, or maybe kickers if they'll allow them.

I bet I can dig up something around here to run. You Men out there have it GREAT !!!! Scrap here is down to $115 a ton, but a rusty POS Can't be bought for less than $400-600. I had a guy call me to say he had a front clip so I could re-stub the 85' camaro.$300 for a skeleton. NO exterior sheet metal, hood/fenders/doors/quarters all cut off for race car. WTF ??

We're less than that still. When scrap went so high the last time, people still think their junk is worth that price. Hardly. Still kills me when people ask what you'll pay then say "I can get more than that scrap price". Go ahead idiot. Feel stupid now dont you. Now i just tell them to call the scrappers, get a price and I'll beat it. The look on their face is priceless when they just found out their complete vic will only bring 200 if the yard comes and gets it. Recently had a guy sell me a driving jeep cherokee for 210 because he drove it to the yard and they still only offered 200. All day long.......

Scraps been chit priced here long enough that getting running driving compacts for under $150 isn't too difficult. At least now they aren't telling to tell me how much the scrap yard would give. Funny thing is, never did find that mythical $300 a ton scrap yard 🤔

It went to $300 here a few years ago. I'm not kidding, I've never seen so many meth addicts and crack heads in my life. The scum of the earth came out to haul in $43 dollars worth of stolen junk in the trunk of their 93 Plymouth Acclaim to get their next fix.
Nice part was hauling in a full size junk van for $850-$1000 (depending on wheels and converters) was pretty damn cool.

Been 10 years, but Denver did briefly hit 380 for volume customers (20+ tons a month). just bumped up to 100 here today.
