Hey guys ive been running trucks for about 7 years now just starting to put a few things together to do some work helping new comers into the sport. I was going to start putting some you tube videos together on my current build covering things like general saftey, cages, steering, suspension, drive systems etc. How tos and guides for beginners. Looking for your advice from your experiences that you would pass on to new comers to include here and on my videos.

I say teach them how to do a floating cage for safety and let them learn other than that. I'm only 4 years into the sport and it still bugs me when I see people inspecting my stuff if they're not a tech or friend. I don't care if they take a walk by and look at it, it's when heads get stuck into fender wells and cabs and people lay under it that I get grumpy. Taken me 4 years building and running, a lifetime of listening, and lotsa money to get what little tricks I have.

My main piece of advice is know what you're getting into. If you wanna run a show, look up your heat on YouTube from the past year or better yet show up to it the year before you run.
