Let's not ignore the fact that every time he gets hit in the rear the door moves in, and he's holding on to the same door going in reverse.
I don't care if it hurts car count, I don't care if it makes you the biggest butt head promotor to live. 4 point cage and Halo should be MANDATORY and welded well.
I'm actually getting tired of seeing cage restrictions in a show material wise, I understand restrictions from floor, firewall, back sheetmetal, but to say you can't run bigger then x sized material is ignorance on the promotors part.
"It's just smashing cars I don't want to put money into it". Then your an idiot. You can find cage material for cheap or free and find someone to weld it. It shouldn't even be an excuse anymore.

Looks like a Just Money Productions car. Probably has a screw in the gas tank too. You know, for safety. Its OK though as long as you can get that car off the track in time so we can have our joke monster truck show! Doubt it was a JM show, but that was my first thought too. It was somewhere in MN IIRC.

I was thinking it was Just Moneys cousin, Stoney. They made us cut out passenger door bars and seat bars on shocker chryslers because" they make the car too strong in the center."

Frank Roberts told me he don't allow decent cages because it makes it too hard to cut the injured drivers out of the car. yup just another idiot who doesn't deserve the right to call himself a promoter.

Yup got the exact same story! I guess that's why the door has to be chained, so they can open it right up to get you out! One of the techs said"we've derbied without cages for years why do we need them now"

To me my safety is first and foremost. I'm out there to have fun and destroy a CAR not myself or someone else! Safety bars should be mandatory in all derbies!

I wonder if he realizes they wouldn't have to cut anyone out if the %$#&@!* f$&King car wasn't wrapped around the person.

Lets not strap our helmets on. If the EMT's had to work on us, its a major inconvenience and time saver.
