Update. I've been working on the Charger all summer here and there getting ideas from other brands, especially FWD cars. I've replaced the upper and lower A-arms and spindles to get something better than stock. I haven't completed it yet so I don't know if everything will work together for sure. Once I get it finished, I'll post some pics. Any update on whats worked?

There's a lime green Charger from the recent derby up in NY. Stock style to perhaps limited weld looks like for rules. Appears to have stock bumper. Did okay for a while.

We recently ran x2 300's and noticed a lot of differences in the years and models. we ran an 06 V6 and a 10 V6 and the '10 made it through 2 derbies 2nd place and 3rd respectively.it probably would have made it a third derby but the season is over up here in Canada. Couldn't be happier with how well the car held up and i now know what to change for next year.

I'm sending a very well built 05 Magnum RT to UTC on August 5th. Should be a good time. 355, built powerglide, spooled 9" with some crawling gears.

I can't get it to upload any pics, but I bet they put the "IRON CLASS" on YouTube.

Got an 08 charger with the 3.5 HO, gonna be running it in street stock full size class, tire and bumper swaps, motor swaps for make to make so thinking of getting an older 318 or something and stuffing it in to simplify everything. Haven't gotten to really do much with it but read some stuff here on swapping out parts but didn't see any info on what other cars innerchange with these.

I have not tried to stick a 318 in one yet, but I do know a 350 chevy barely fits in one. You have to put the engine right up against the firewall just to have enough room between the rad and the engine. I wouldn't want to cut anything out of the firewall on these cars as that is where most of the strength is up front. If you have a good running v6, I don't know if it would be better to just leave it in or not. All of mine have bad v6 engine in them. I personally wouldn't run one in a street stock because of the rear suspension, but that's just me.
