first, those got to be the cleanest cars ive ever seen. are you able to get any of those cars? the under view was neat never seen an underview crash test before. that aluminum trans mount snapped with no effort, looks like itd be easy to make a steel brace. swapping rear ends is do able, a guy up here in ontario swapped 1, not sure what he put under it but he did swap for a solid axle. Paris prostock if your interested in seeing it. 727 was his # Ya the body's are being sold with title not cheap tho. It's a website I found with all the pics to show what all them cars had for frames. In crash test it dint look like k frame is built to bend much but after we start modify them it changes. I think they car be a competitive car with right builder I bet guys are taking the new chargers and finding a old challenger or chargers that are rotten cutting the floors off and the new style chargers and dropping the old challenger and charger bodies on top and re welding the old body to the new body. i was noticing in the under shot of the video the charger subframe and sway bar placement is different than the 300C subframe, the rear trailing arms look easy to build new square tubing trailing arms if swapping to a solid axle wasnt do able or parts wernt available. I wonder if it would be stronger to swap trailing arms make them a hair longer than stock trailing arms, and put a spacer between the axle shaft and the knuckles pushing the axle into the diff more and relieving stress on the axle shaft because the new square tube trailing arms being a hair longer will take the brut force of any hits and not the axle shaft

Looks like you could cut a bunch of the rails off up front to reduce leverage. I thought about cutting the front of my rails down but since it’s a first car of its time, experiment decided not to this time. Put my shocks in until they hit the plate inside the frame. Put a bolt in, then I’ll change out the sub frame bolt for a 3/4 threaded rod. See how it does there’s not a whole lot of Bend room once the rad goes in.

These definitely are interesting to say the least. Those straight frame rails give me a lot of ideas. I have a r body I'm running now. I may try and find one of these cars and when my r body is toast build it and see what happens.

I've tried putting a different K frame in one but you'd have to cut a lot out of the existing body/sub frame to make it work. I'm going to try to run stock front suspension if I ever get back around to building again. Rear end swap would be easy to do with a 4 link setup by making mounting brackets and welding in to the sub frame. I've spent a lot of time under one just figuring things out. The only problem I see is if the fords can tilt, that takes away any advantage to compete against them.

Someone also brought up the aluminum suspension parts, not all of them are aluminum. I'm not sure of models and years but I have two with cast steel suspension parts right now. I was also able to get 15" wheels on the front by changing the tie rod geometry too.
