Anyone happen to have any pics of cages that passed tech at their shows? The car is a crown vic if that helps.

They said that they don't like people having cages so that its easier to remove injured people from the cars. Idiots.

Thanks thats exactly what I was looking for. I'm thinking of a roll bar inside the roof from both rear uprights. This is the first time running one of their shows.

I run four point harness and racing seat to keep the cage from beating the hell out of me. JMO

I just pad up my cage. Do you just leave the belts loose so you can turn to see behind you? Maybe I just drive backwards too much,

This was from many years ago. They said the passenger door bar had to be 18 inches from the passengers door. Like that makes any since. However this cage ran their show a couple times. Outlaw chicken wire special. I've ran many of their shows down here in MD never once have I thought of doing a cage like that lol thanks for the pic though

Did I mention it was a bolt together and reusable cage that was bolted through the body and frame.

No you didn't but I like the way you think. I'm building a Vic with a BBM so a cage like this would be really nice addition to the car haha

Its hard to see in that picture but that chicken wire was four wraps through washers welded to trunk, rear package tray, 1/4s and floor pans.

My cage for JM shows bolts together in most places but welds to the floor. I have 45 degree angle bars for door bars because I usually run stock vics and don't remove the dash.
