So I read through the whole thread and no end product? I was a little excited to see some prototype, and I want to see this "more convenient way.

2/0 welding cable is more flexible then the battery 2/0. Easier to route through the car and engine bay. I find the insulator coating is soft on welding cable tho and is easier to cut on sharp edges. this is the short version of my last link....

We use welding cable, can get it cheap from the local welder shop that comes in on welders that are junk but the leads are good to go and work great. More than enough ampacity for a vehicle.
