General Rules
These rules are not up for discussion Tech Crew has final say If it doesn't say you can do THEN YOU CANT. Bend the rules and you will lose! • You only get TWO free chances to pass through the tech line! If you do not pass tech after the second try then you have one of two options. (1.) Load up and go home with out being reimbursed!!! (2.) Pay another entry fee to get a third chance!! Each class has different entry fee amounts, what ever your class amount is that's what you pay. If you do not pass tech after the third try you will load up!!! NO EXCEPTIONS • The tech crew will re-inspect the top 5 cars in each class before any awards or money is handed out. If found cheating after the derby is over you will forfeit all awards and winnings and receive nothing. The tech crew has the right to cut or drill frames and body if they believe your cheating. • Your car must be inspected and pass before the drivers meeting or you will not run. You need to leave early enough to make it to the fair grounds on time. If you show up late and have to cut and don't pass tech before the drivers meeting you will not run. • You will only get one warning for sandbagging, The second time we come to you for sandbagging its to break your stick. People come to watch a show and its your job to put it on. • Do not hit the drivers door, You get one warning. We know accidents happen but if it looks intentional your done. If your a driver that uses their drivers door as a shield to avoid getting hit and some one takes the shot we will not be giving a warning. • There is to be no welding at the fair grounds. If you are caught welding at the fair grounds your disqualified. If you lose a bumper in the heat that's tough should of welded it better. • After each heat, cars will be quarantined until the last heat, so everyone gets the same amount of time to work on cars. • A helmet and eye protection must be worn at all times while in the derby pit. We highly recommend long sleeve shirts and pants. • If you catch on fire your out, If you catch on fire in the heat you may fix the problem and run the consolation. • There is to be no painting of the frame anywhere, If your painting the frame your cheating and you will not run. If you show up with mud and dirt caked all over the frame you will not pass tech and you will have to go scrape it off and that will be one of the two free tries to pass tech.
